A Secret Garden in the City

Posted on February 06 2018

It's always difficult finding places in New York City to take dreamy photographs. There is, however, in the East Village a secret paradise known as The Community Gardens. These are small gardens that belong to the people that live in the neighborhood, some people have their own plots and can grow their gardens, but they are open to the public as small natural oasis right in the middle of the city. This particular one that we took photos in is a whole block long and has been around since the 70s. It has little houses, gnomes, ponds and flower arches. All taken care of by the people of the community. Thank you for letting us in!
The beautiful Pink Tinkerbell is Liz Harlan. The dreamy photos are by queen Bao Ngo. And the magical hair and make up is by Laura Shynn
